Working in the Clinical Genetics Office, the Genetic Counseling Assistant (GCA) will ensure that patient charts are prepared for clinic and that insurance approval has been obtained for both the visit and the necessary laboratory studies (generally following the visit based on the recommendations of the clinical team.
