Duties:Clinical/Counseling Psychology: You will be responsible for applying various psychological procedures and techniques, such as interviewing, behavioral assessment, evidence-based therapies, and psychological testing/psycho-diagnostic testing.

CPA accredits doctoral programs in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, clinical neuropsychology, and school psychology. Currently, APA accredits doctoral programs in the specialty areas of clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or combinations of two or more of those areas.

Educational Requirements: This position requires a Licensed Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling (or in process of obtaining licensure), Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychiatric Certified-Registered Nurse, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, or a Licensed Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Master's Degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Counselor Education, Student Affairs, Higher Education or a related discipline. The Assistant Director for Career Counseling will schedule and facilitate monthly career counseling meetings and will assist the Senior Associate Director and Assistant Director for Programs and Events in facilitating the monthly student services meetings.

A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, theology or divinity from a college or university and/or as required by state-specific regulations. BS or BA in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology from a college or university and/or as required by state-specific regulations.

Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide watch notes. Our site positions include roles such as performing and electronically documenting mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide risk assessments, as well as escalating patient needs to providers where appropriate.

PSYCHOLOGIST PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required. State of Minnesota licensure required, need to have one of the following: Licensed Psychologist (LP) with the MN Board of Psychology or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with the MN Board of Social Work or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the MN Board of Marriage & Family Therapy or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with the MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy.

There are no job assignments in VHA that require the skills of a school psychologist; therefore, an applicant with a degree in the specialty area of school psychology is not eligible for appointment.

B) Knowledge of history, philosophy and disability rights legislation in the field of rehabilitation to apply in the practice of rehabilitation counseling. Current, full and unrestricted certification as a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) from the CRCC to practice vocational rehabilitation counseling.

Master's degree in psychology, child development, education, special education, social work, behavior analysis, counseling, speech language pathology, Marriage Family Therapist (MFT) or a related field required.

The CCC is currently seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to 1) provide administrative and clinical oversight, supervision, and training of MFT/PCC Trainees/Associates in order to prepare them, professionally and clinically, for advancement within the MA Program in Clinical Psychology, and into licensure; and 2) oversee the entire MFT cohort at the CCC. The LMFT reports to the Executive Director.

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention (Master's Preferred.

Master's Degree with license for behavior specialist with coursework to include clinical coursework in Autism, foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services (i.e., individual, group and family therapy, abnormal psychology, psychopathology, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, crisis counseling, assessment, child development, personality theory, psychotherapy lab, clinical practicum.

Full-time coursework in psychology, counseling, education, or a field related to human services, vocational rehabilitation, etc. A master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a field related to vocational rehabilitation and 12 months of direct experience, OR.

Education: Masters degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
