Allied Universal® is hiring a Special Investigations Unit / Claims Investigator. Certified Fraud Investigator (CFE) Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Specialists investigate claims with red flags that suggest fraudulent behavior In relation to an Insurance claim.

Lead engagements ranging from Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering (BSA / AML) Risk Assessment, Program Development, investigations and lookbacks, Know Your Customer and Customer Due Diligence reviews, regulatory remediation, BSA / AML independent testing, AML Model Validation, and more.

Professional certification such as Certified Information systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is preferred.

In all cases, the specialized knowledge and experience shall directly support the technical requirements of this contractDesired Skills:Additional certification, such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) is preferred.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred. Responsible for execution of compliance, financial, and risk-based internal audits, investigations, and special projects to assess compliance with state gaming regulations and federal anti-money laundering regulations, internal controls, policies and procedures.

CFCS, ACAMS, CFE, or AAP not required but will be considered a value-add. Actively works fraud investigations with internal and external business partners and reports to Bank Management on significant fraud/loss-related matters as they arise.

1 or More Certifications such as Loss Prevention Certification (LPC), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Associate Safety Professional; Certified Safety Professional; or Non-degreed certifications Certified Safety Manager; or related.

Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in fraud investigations, bank security, bank loss prevention, and/or Bank Secrecy Act reporting, required. Performs complex fraud investigations derived from escalated fraud alerts and other various sources, such as branch personnel or law enforcement.

Requisite professional designations and work experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar, from an accredited university or college 2 + years of prior experience in Forensic Investigations, Disputes or Audit Prior experience at one of the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms would be an asset Pursuing CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, a plus.

Preferred Certification(s): CPA, CSCP, CIA, CFA, CGMA, CMA, CFE or international equivalent (i.e., ACCA). Collaborate with Ethics and Compliance (E&C) and Human Resources (HR) on investigations associated with whistleblower and other allegations brought forward via the Ethics Helpline.

Certifications related to: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Security+ or Network+, Certified Public Accounting (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CDFM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), COTR Levels I, II, III, or similar.

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification Preferred. The Fraud Analyst II Journeyman Office of Investigative and Market Analytics shall assist in obtaining documents and other information related to investigations and cases for the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of Investigative and Market Analytics.
