This position serves as the assistant project biologist on all herring and salmon monitoring projects that take place on the West side of Bristol Bay. Under direct supervision, the incumbent will assist in all phases of herring aerial surveys, the Nushagak Sonar project, and three sockeye salmon enumerating towers on the West side of Bristol Bay. This position will be staffed from 8 to 10 months annually, contingent on funding, with the 3 summer months stationed in Dillingham.
