- The Intermediate Ultrasound Technologist may be required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilize sterile techniques, and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System.
- The Intermediate Ultrasound Technologist must routinely work within a minimum of 2 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT or CCI Vascular certification as directed by department managers/supervisors to meet the specific needs of the departments.
- This includes but is not limited to; Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), Fetal Echo (FE), Neurosonology (NE), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), or Pediatric Sonography (PS).
