  • VP of Enterprise Architecturejob summary:The VP of Enterprise Architecture establishes architectural direction and defines technology enablers that drive delivery of product and business solutions, focused on driving overall design for reuse, patterns of practice, and scalable solutions.
  • This position typically performs work in a corporate or field location and reports to the Chief Technology Officer.
  • This position also works collaboratively with Product Leaders, Technology Leaders, and Scrum Teams to ensure implementation and alignment to core technology architecture practices, standards, and solutions.
  • + Lead technical decision making on proof of technology/proof of concept and build/buy options across all product platforms and capabilities.
  • + Lead architectural governance programs, architectural standards and processes related to technology solutions that drive delivery of product capabilities.
  • + Delegate detailed architecture design solutions and decisions to other direct reports, software architects and/or technical leaders.
  • + Mentor software architects in trending technologies, architectural standards, and technical design solutions.
  • + Participate in M activities related to product technology solutions.
  • + Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate.
  • + Ensures that direct reports have knowledge of the Company's policies and procedures regarding this area of service, receive training, and are prepared to perform work at the appropriate level.
