  • As a User Experience Designer you will work as part of our Development team to research user needs, design effective user interfaces, and working with our developers to implement your designs.
  • The User Experience Designer must be the advocate for users and their needs.
  • Areas of focus will include user research, information architecture, visual design, prototyping, and producing development ready designs.
  • This position reports directly to the Product Manager.
  • Tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to translate requirements and synthesize insights from research
  • Consult with users to understand their goals and explaining research results
  • Conduct usability testing
  • Design and deliver wireframes, storyboards, information architecture and screen flows
  • Create and perform user testing on prototypes
  • Developing personas and usage scenarios
  • Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
  • Assist with content development
  • Conduct analysis of competitive and comparable products
  • Skills and requirements
  • Experience designing complex web based applications
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • Attention to detail
  • Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Business know-how: Understanding of business and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
  • Ability to create development ready assets (HTML, CSS, images)
