- This position will entail developing an independent research program, participating in medical student Active Learning Groups as a faculty facilitator, and teaching biostatistics to first- and second-year medical students in an integrated curriculum.
- Candidates working in any area of biostatistics research will be considered; however, those interested in using advanced statistical methods to study cancer, neuroscience, and/or healthcare disparities are especially encouraged to apply.
- The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with departmental and university colleagues working on both theoretical and application-based projects in many areas of biomedical science.
- Additionally, they will have access to students in the newly developed Ph. D. program in data science.
- Areas of faculty expertise include cancer biology, molecular biology, genetics/genomics, neuropharmacology, and animal behavior.
