  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned):Hands-on contributor for installation, upgrades, testing and maintenance of new and existing technology systems and solutions.
  • Administration of Windows Servers, Active Directory, GPOs, and DNS.Installation, configuration, and administration of physical and virtual servers in development and production environments.
  • Maintenance of servers, desktop and laptop workstations, including updates on all software as needed.
  • Assist in maintenance of office network equipment, including printers, scanners, switches, cabling, remote terminals, wireless access points, security surveillance systems, and firewalls.
  • Assist in the monitoring of all network equipment, services, video surveillance, access control systems, and websites.
  • Assist in managing the backup systems and data replication.
  • Assist in managing SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Compliance and controls)Setup client hardware and software applications, grant and maintain access rights, monitor and backup data, provide systems support and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot applications, servers, and user issues and keep log of issues and document resolution using SPD ticket management system and knowledge base.
  • Evaluate all new hardware/software and propose improvements to IT Director.
  • Propose any new system improvements, modifications, or alterations to IT Director.
  • Perform resolution of desktop, server, networking issues.
  • QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) in FIELD from accredited institution or 3 plus years relevant, broad IT experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Required KnowledgeAbility to work independently and utilize strong judgement on assigned tasks and accept direction.
  • Utilize strong judgement in all situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with a range of personnel.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Strong business acumen consistent with SPD mission statement and culture.
  • Ability to handle stress and stay organized, focused, even-tempered and congenial when faced with multiple deadlines.
  • Maintain a presentable appearance.
