- This permanent full-time position in the University of Colorado, School of Medicine, Department of Pathology, to be based at the University of Colorado Hospital in the Department of Pathology Anatomic Pathology laboratory.
- The academic appointment, at ranks of Assistant or Associate Professor, requires the candidate to have board certification in anatomic pathology as well as subspecialty fellowship training and experience in breast pathology or breast and gynecologic pathology.
- 5-10% Provide clinical consultation to peers in anatomic pathology, colleagues in other subspecialties of medicine related to breast or breast and gynecologic pathology at Multidisciplinary Conferences (MDC).
- This includes residents in pathology, as well as the GME accredited pathology fellowship in breast and gynecologic pathology.
- 10% Participate as the on call attending in anatomic pathology on-call coverage after hours, serve as the attending pathologist in frozen section coverage at UCH, as well as cover other responsibilities of call including transplant pathology (voluntary), medical autopsy, etc.
