- The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Temple University Health System is seeking a BC/BE Surgical Pathologist and Cytopathologist to join its dynamic faculty.
- The Department of Pathology receives over 22,000 surgical specimens, (excluding nearly 7,000 oral specimens), 3500 cytology specimens, 100 autopsies, and performs over 2.2 million laboratory tests in a typical year.
- Special diagnostic testing includes immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, advanced molecular diagnostics, electron microscopy, and whole slide imaging.
- Modern research laboratories are equipped for tissue culture, real-time PCR, techniques for advanced protein detection, laser confocal microscopy, flow cytometry and molecular biology.
