- Responsible for conducting, analyzing, and interpreting lab data and evaluating existing geotechnical conditions to determine soil classifications and mechanical properties
- Responsible for preparing geotechnical report for bridges, roadways, buildings, signs, retaining walls, lighting, and drainage improvements
- Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project
