  • As a Sr. Compensation Analyst for DHL, you will be responsible for leading the administration and development of compensation and benefits programs aligned with the company's strategies.
  • Responsible for administering and monitoring compensation and benefit programs which includes base and variable pay programs to ensure alignment and support of compensation philosophy.
  • Ability to conduct research for salary surveys, job descriptions and compensation reviews to include special compensation analysis used to determine competitiveness and appropriateness of job classifications, auditing compensation for individuals and job groups and salary levels to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Conducts market analysis of jobs by reviewing the scope of responsibilities and matching appropriately to comparable survey data.
  • Provides assistance with job descriptions and job families as requested, ensuring equitable and consistent use of job standards and worth.
  • Reviews salary actions for conformance to established guidelines and follows-up with managers as appropriate responding to questions from other HR staff and managers related to wage & hour issues.
  • Participates in and supports continuous improvement activities, including training, coaching and sharing of current processes and best practices.
  • Document and enhance programs, procedures, policies and controls.
  • Responsible for managing the overall administration of Incentive plans.
  • Includes analysis and maintenance of the plans.
  • Creates and owns the reports, data and analysis used to effectively evaluate the performance of the plans.
  • Creates and maintains plan documents including the preparation and distribution of various employee letters and statements.
  • Establishes credibility and influence by coordinating with team and division Leaders, Finance, Legal and Human Resources to ensure accurate processing, reporting and disclosure of employee’s incentive transactions.
  • Will act as a subject matter expert in determining impact of plan changes.
  • Knowledge of incentive plan administration an asset
  • Provides timely assistance and guidance to Human Resources Business Partners regarding incentive compensation analysis, program design, legal compliance, and incentive compensation issues.
  • Maintain internal policy compliance as it pertains to incentive plan administration.
  • Regularly reviews incentive payments reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in related field or MS/MA a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field.
  • General compensation knowledge of Latin America required including compliance with various laws throughout the region that apply to compensation and benefit plans.
  • Professional certification would be an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills, math/statistical aptitude.
  • Ability to interpret salary surveys and salary reports.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player who is well organized and confident to work independently.
  • Self-starter who can initiate action and follow through with well defined solutions and action plans.
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required (read, write and speak).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
