  • The Boys and Girls Club of Moorpark and Simi Valley is seeking a Full-Time Site Coordinator for our Moorpark Club Facility at 200 Casey Road, Moorpark CA.
  • The regular daily schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.
  • This position will directs/manage overall daily operations of the Moorpark Club site with the primary concernfor programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, Siterelated reporting, facilities management, community relations and membershipadministration.
  • Establish and implement Club programs,activities and services that impact the lives of Club members, preparing youthfor success and that create a Club environment that facilitates achievement ofYouth Development Outcomes.
  • Recruit and maintain Club members tomaximize Club impact, as well as maximize facility capacity.
  • Ensure a healthy and safe environment,ensuring facilities, equipment and supplies are clean and well maintained.
  • Ensure Club safety in a top priority,and staff is trained regularly on safety procedures, including appropriateinteraction with Club members.
  • Plan, develop, implement and evaluate Siteoverall programs, services and activities to ensure they meet stated objectivesand member needs and interests, consistent with the Club’s mission and goals.
  • Compile regular reports reflecting allactivities, attendance and participation.
  • Manage Site resources, requisitionneeded materials and supplies within budget.
  • Ensure proper care of Club equipment andsupplies.
  • Staff schedules are maintained and timesheets submitted per payroll schedule.
  • Provide professional developmentopportunities for staff and volunteers.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a close workingrelationship with school(s) served by the Site. Develop partnerships with parents, volunteers, and community organizations.
  • Marketingand Public Relations
  • Develop and maintain public relations toincrease the visibility of programs, services and activities within the Cluband the community.
  • Coordinate activitieswith Director of Operations.
  • Gather andshare stories of impact from Club members and parents.
  • Take and submit photographs of Club programsand impact.
  • The selected candidate must successfully pass a fingerprinting clearance, background check.
  • First aid / CPR certification is required and will be provided if the selected applicant is not already First Aid / CPR certified.
  • Four year degree from an accreditedcollege or university, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years work experiencein a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervisingactivities based on the developmental needs of young people, or equivalentexperience.
  • Demonstrated ability in personnelsupervision, facilities management, and the development of program staff.
  • Strong communication skills, both oraland written.
  • Ability to train, supervise, andmotivate staff.
  • Ability to deal effectively with membersincluding discipline problems.
  • Demonstrated ability in working withyoung people, parents and community leaders.
  • Mustpossess a valid CA Drivers License with good driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain Class B Licensewith Passenger Endorsement and Youth Bus Certificate within 90 days ofemployment.
