Service Technician - Park Maintenance

- Appointed by the Mayor in consultation with the Administrative Assistant, the Service Technician, under the immediate supervision of a Department Manager or Supervisor is responsible for a variety of skilled and unskilled tasks in the delivery of City services and maintenance of City buildings, roadways, grounds, and equipment.
- Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks to assist with the efficient delivery of City services (e.g., snow removal, mowing, litter control, etc.)
- playground equipment inspection and maintenance, ball diamond maintenance, fencing, shelter and park restroom facility maintenance, operates and maintains City-owned equipment and vehicles, such as backhoe, skid steer, chipper, snow removal equipment, tractors, mowers, etc.
- The following are examples only and are not intended to be all inclusive: Backhoe, loader, street sweeper, skid steer, snowplow, tractors, mowers, and other related equipment; saws, jackhammer, light and heavy duty motorized trucks, hand and power tools (e.g., chainsaw, air wrench, etc.)
- ODA Applicator License and CPSI Certification preferred.
