- The Senior Sonographer II-Fetal Therapy, under the general supervision of the Chief imaging Technologist and with the assistance of a physician, performs a more extensive range of diagnostic ultrasound and intervention procedures, assists in the training and supervising of ultrasound Sonographers, in clinical research studies and orients and educates medical staff in theory and applications of sonographic technology.
- Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in obstetrics and fetal echocardiography.
- Requires thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of all fetal conditions that diagnosed with prenatal ultrasound today.
- Must be proficient in the pulse wave and color Doppler examination of the entire fetal circulation beyond what is required in obstetric ultrasound (renal arteries, organ specific perfusion, coronary arteries, fetal vessels of fetal tumors, etc
- Must proficient in structural, functional and specialized fetal echocardiography required for diagnosis of fetal cardiac anomalies, monitoring of fetal heart function or rhythm.
