- Provide process development and engineering design expertise for mineral processing projects.
- Senior Process Engineers may be assigned to projects as Study Manager, Project Engineer or Project Manager, at the discretion of the Manager of Projects Mining & Metals in consultation with the Manager and Chief Process Engineer.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of operating experience in at least two different types of operating plants in the mining industry, e.g. base metals flotation concentrator and precious metals recovery operation or copper solvent extraction/electrowinning hydrometallurgical plant.
- The requirements of different types of projects such as metallurgical studies; scoping, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies; basic engineering; detail engineering; plant commissioning; and plant operations and optimization.
