- The DOF maintains the accounts of County government, the County's school districts, and many of the special districts within Marin County.
- Under the general supervision of the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Accounting Technician plays an integral role in supporting Department of Finance (DOF) payroll operations by performing the complex and specialized payroll transactions.
- Assisting County payroll clerks with processing bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls in compliance with Federal, State and County laws.
- Employment with the County requires the affirmation of a loyalty oath to this effect.
- Employees are required to complete all Disaster Service Worker-related training as assigned, and to return to work as ordered in the event of an emergency.
