  • The Sr. Manager, Field Marketing position is responsible for building and leading a team of field marketers aligned to regional sales targets.

  • Job Responsibilities: Lead the team to develop highly scalable marketing campaigns and programs designed to fill in the funnel and accelerate opportunities through the pipeline.
  • Hire, train, coach, and lead a team of field marketing managers.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales leaders across the business to ensure alignment of bookings targets to regional and localized marketing objectives.
  • Meet or exceed our annual plan to grow demand for each of our sales regions.
  • Collaborate and engage field marketing with lifecycle marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, and marketing services to fill and accelerate regional sales funnels.
  • Help other marketing functions refine their strategy based on regional feedback.
  • Familiarity with territory planning, account planning and strategy.
  • Partner with the Sr. Solutions Marketing Manager to develop the strategic and tactical planning for presales and marketing program execution within the local regional markets, focused on priority states and accounts.
  • Identify and drive the development of content marketing in the pursuit of regional marketing programs to effectively grow and accelerate bookings pipeline; including identifying internal and external SME’s to provide thought leadership to support localized regional marketing.
  • Manage and drive creation of compelling content marketing/regional marketing materials (e.g. emails, whitepaper, case studies, landing pages, brochures, presentations, adoption samples and materials, vidoes, demos) and creative to fuel regional marketing programs and sales activities.
  • Set the standard for effective account-based marketing practices, and ensure it is documented, scaleable and repeatable.
  • Ensure priority states have regionalized marketing content to support local campaigns and programs.
  • Set the standard to ensure effective collaboration across marketing and sales roles for regional campaign execution.
  • Improve field marketing campaign efficiency in terms of ROI; specifically, tracking penetration of regional markets and relationship building with key decision makers and purchasing influencers.
  • Manage field marketing budget and hiring plan.
  • Be an advocate for the sales department and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities.

  • Ensure field marketing contributes productively to the quarterly business reviews vis
  • vis our MSP (metrics, strategy and planning) framework.
  • Drive best practices in sharing across organizations to enhance the quality and efficiency of regional campaigns and programs.
  • Assign resources as required to marketing events and other pipeline efforts to support demand generation.
  • Evaluate team regularly through direct observation, peer feedback and sales feedback.
  • Ensure proper alignment of resources and effective utilization of skill sets within the assigned region.
  • Job Qualifications: Past experience delivering, accelerating, and expanding sales pipeline through regional marketing.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Strong communication skills without a fear of over communication.
  • This role will require effective collaboration and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to empathize with the needs of school and district leaders.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • You share our values, and work in accordance with those values.
  • Strong understanding of marketing within EdTech and/or SaaS vertical markets.
