- HDR is currently seeking a senior Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineer to lead engineering design tasks in the planning and design of fish hatcheries and aquaculture systems throughout Idaho and in the United States.
- Experience in the design of upstream and downstream fish collection facilities, fish passage and screening, acclimation facilities, and aquaculture water treatment is desirable.
- We also welcome candidates with experience in engineering design of drinking water, wastewater, or raw water systems, pump stations, water or wastewater treatment, or water resource projects.
- Analyze existing and design new water supply, drainage and treatment systems, open channel conveyance systems, pressurized and open channel pipe networks, raw water intakes, site layouts, building function, concrete and earthen holding and rearing ponds and raceways, RAS and PRAS systems, pump stations, pollution abatement and settling ponds, and sorting, handling, storage, and mechanical/electrical buildings, as aligns with your technical experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience participating directly in engineering design projects related to fish hatcheries, aquaculture, drinking water systems or treatment, wastewater systems or treatment, water intakes, pump stations, or water resource projects.
