  • What you’ll be doing?
  • The Senior Director of Solutions Consulting is responsible for supporting SDS sales efforts with both current customers and new prospects.
  • This position combines extensive knowledge of the business problems and challenges in the industry with advanced technical product expertise necessary to demonstrate the capabilities of the SDS solution suite.
  • The role is charged with capturing the business problem and goal(s) of the client and for describing, designing, and documenting the Smart Data Solution that best meets that need.
  • In this role the Senior Director will be responsible for the management of the Solutions Consulting team and ongoing development of all processes needed in that capacity.
  • This is a key member of the SDS Sales team and reports to Senior Vice President of Sales
  • Actively participate with the sales/account mgmt.
  • team in sales process including discovery and product demonstrations for qualified sales opportunities
  • Deliver technical and consultative presentations to customers and answer their technical and product specific questions regarding solution offerings
  • Support the sales team in the development of proposals and other content used in the sales process
  • Coordinate and prepare all Statements of Work (SOW) as required by customers/prospects
  • Provide management oversight of any RFP and responsible for the completion and submission of the SDS response
  • Support marketing team efforts to create collateral that has technical, industry-specific information that promotes SDS solutions
  • Utilize CRM solution to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
  • Keep informed of industry trends and feed this information to the Product Sales, Product Development Team and Marketing team
  • Delivery of on-site and online sales presentations and product demos
  • Actively build product knowledge to ensure a high level of understanding of the Smart Data Solutions product line including any new functionality
  • Travel as needed for client, prospect and sales meetings; travel is projected to be minimal
  • What we’re looking for?
  • Successful history of supporting sales as a Solution Engineer in the healthcare payer market with demonstrated success in working with customers who are using enterprise products focused on EDI, Workflow Processing/Re-engineering, OCR Data Capture, Clearinghouse, Claims Processing and/or outsourced BPO solutions
  • History of progressive growth in a health plan payer’s EDI and/or Mailroom department
  • Proven ability to present an enterprise technology solution impacting multiple departments within a payer organization
  • Ability to document business workflows and think creatively on how improvements can be made using company solutions
  • Basic financial understanding such that annual spend and saving analysis can be conducted with customer
  • Understanding of SaaS cloud-based technology service models and transaction-based and/or value based pricing models
  • Ability to provide a consultative approach within the account management/customer success process
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary team to plan sales activities
  • Self-starter: goal oriented and accountable to self and others
