  • The Senior Compliance Administrator is responsible for planning and conducting compliance audits and internal control reviews in accordance with federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards.
  • These audits include data gathering, completing investigations, performing analysis, communicating outcomes and creating effective ongoing monitoring plans.
  • This position will work with and delegates activities to the Corporate Compliance Assistant Auditor.
  • The Senior Compliance Administrator will also oversee all compliance matters at Crouse Medical Practice.
  • They will ensure compliance activities are being conducted and that the elements of an effective compliance program are being implemented and followed.
  • They will work on continuous program improvement.
  • The position includes working with highly confidential material and acting as liaison between all departments within Crouse Medical Practice, all hospital departments, physicians and the public when needed.
  • This position reports to the Corporate Compliance and Risk Management department Job Requirements: EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE Required: Bachelor#s degree required Preferred: EXPERIENCE Required: Must have two (2) years# experience in a healthcare setting.

  • SPECIAL SKILLS/EQUIPMENT Familiarity with CMS, HHS, OIG, OMIG and applicable compliance requirements.

  • Knowledge of medical records including electronic medical records.
  • Able to interpret regulatory documentation, payment, reimbursement and billing and coding guidelines.
  • Demonstrated computer experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other department-specific computer programs.
  • Possess excellent customer service, communication, organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to type 60 wpm (typing test will be administered).
  • Must be flexible, able to multi-task and able to handle stressful situations.
  • Must have ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have two (2) years' experience in a healthcare setting.
