  • This opening is intended to be a Full time position.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with all walk-in potential customers to maximize new and used equipment sales, RPO's and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate messages and/or route to appropriate personnel.
  • Coordinate all power sales (eg.
  • Generators, air compressors, ups pumps) with salespeople and other Cashman support departments.
  • Coordinate power equipment in service shops, through prep/cleaning and to proper delivery to customer.
  • Coordinate credit approvals in compliance with company guidelines
  • Code invoices and credit memos, and distribute to accounting department with oversight of Sales Operations Manager.
  • Research gensets/equipment as necessary.
  • Central contact for all salespeople regarding power deliveries.
  • Coordinate and invoice sales to include reservations and holds, location of equipment, entering agreements in DBS, shop work, outside vendors and freight.
  • Prepare and reconcile GPWS (gross profit worksheet) as required.
  • Assist in handling DMV documentation and initial carb registration, as well as, issuing Certificates of Origin and other required documents.
  • Maintain, monitor and invoice lease agreements to include preparing conversion payoffs as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule the sales deliveries and sales invoicing as required.
  • Actively seek and provide feedback from customers, sales representative, fellow employees and manager.
  • Issue Certificates of Origin, Warranty Statements, DSR and other required documents.
  • Maintain equipment inventory files and corporate sales archives.
  • Report and score new equipment records to Caterpillar for warranty purposes.
  • Cross train and serve as backup for equipment ordering in CSQ and Allied Vendors with oversight of Sales Operations Manager.
  • Cross train with Sales Operations Manager.
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review sales and purchase agreements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Overnight travel to branch or customer locations.
  • Company assets, including vehicles, kept in a condition to reflect the professionalism of the sales position.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Enable Cashman to achieve its objective of Safely Home. Everyone.
  • Every Day. by promoting a positive safety culture and adhering to all company safety policies, procedures and practices.
  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Deliver Cashman's "Best Customer Experience" for all internal and external customers on a consistent basis.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all co-workers, customers, and the general public.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar and dealer operations, product line and components.
  • Knowledge of effective customer service techniques including relationship building and partnering.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical computations and understanding of financial reports.
  • Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software for word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Effectively participates as part of the team, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Achieves positive customer, vendor and service/parts department relations while meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Effectively work as a team member, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
  • Achieves a customer focus by delivering high quality, cost effective service.
  • Strong verbal and communications skills.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent and some college preferred.
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
  • Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in the job function.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in direct customer contact in parts, service, sales and/or rental of equipment.
