- During the Winter Term (September-June), sixty-four Advanced students reside on-site at the School in the Meredith Willson Residence Hall, a facility shared with the Juilliard School.
- The Residence Life Coordinator for Academics and Operations (RLC) role is a live-in position at SAB based on a 40-hour work week.
- POSITION DESCRIPTION The RLC role was created to provide live-in supervision for approximately 64 students from ages 14 – 19, who live in the Meredith Willson Residence Hall at the School of American Ballet for the 10-month training period known as the Winter Term; and approximately 200 students from ages 11 – 18 during the 5-week Summer Course.
- Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Student Life for Academic and Cultural Programming, this position includes the following duties and responsibilities in the following areas: On-Duty and Residence Hall Desk Coverage Duty and On-Call Rotation Serve in an On-Duty rotation on evenings and weekends, conducting rounds and maintaining visibility and presence within the residence hall.
- Manage student leadership groups in their facilitation of community improvement projects Attend community events including Welcome Week, Workshop activities, and other large-scale programming.
