Job Description : Job Description SKUNK WORKS The successful candidate for this position will lead significant R&D efforts in Signature Integration technology.
They will work with R&D customer networks to advance the state of the art in classified technologies that benefit all Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LMAero) programs.
They will lead IRAD and CRAD teams executing $1-$10M of R&D activity and shape the future by cultivating new business with a variety of customers.
An ability to develop advocacy among LMAero and ADP programs is required to make sure the right things are investigated and to ensure the timely transition of these technologies - building key discriminators for all of our products.
Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelor or above degree in a technical engineering discipline with 12-14 plus years of Professional experience.
Clear technical understanding of the fundamentals of advanced signature reduction techniques and how they can be traded to impact the overall aircraft system
Demonstrated ability to lead large IRAD and CRAD programs
Experience with design tools, design approaches, part fabrication, ground test, production development, flight test and operational mission support
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customer relations strategies for external (CRAD) and internal (transition to programs) customers
Demonstrated success developing strategic roadmaps for technology integration into products
Ability to work in extremely dynamic environment
Proven ability to communicate to senior executives and customers
Candidate must possess a Top Secret clearance to start and be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI special access programs and clearances.
