- The Admin Officer 3 (AO3) will use skills as a seasoned and experienced professional to oversee all project management and administrative aspects of 1-2 complex, multi-center, NIH-funded clinical research projects.
- The AO3 interacts closely with the UCSF Pre-Award team to ensure timely award set-up, execution of sub-contracts to all sites, and vendors, completion of progress reports, and other pre-award activities as necessary.
- The position interacts closely with the UCSF Neurology Post-Award financial management staff to monitor spending, oversee and develop budget projects, and ensure payment of invoices.
- The Memory and Aging Center (MAC) is a clinical research unit within the UCSF Department of Neurology that investigates the clinical (neurological, cognitive, behavioral, neuroanatomic) characteristics of various neurodegenerative diseases.
- The Primary Investigator's (PI) research within the MAC focuses on the decision-making processes in patients with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), Alzheimer's Disease (AD), primary progressive aphasia (PPA), and other neurodegenerative disorders.
