REMOTE NCDES Unemployment Insurance (Wake and Mecklenburg) -- Temporary Solutions (Durham)
- This posting will be used to fill temporary positions located in the Raleigh - Wake County and Charlotte - Mecklenburg County.
- These positions will be based in the Customer Call Center (CCC) in Charlotte and Raleigh and provides administrative assistance and technical guidance to customers who are initiating UI claims through the telephone or internet.
- OSHR supports the Governor's Job Ready initiative and seeks to expand a temporary's skill set to enhance their qualifications for State government and private sector jobs.
- Considerable knowledge of relevant government program and functions relative to eligibility for disbursement of program benefits
- Description of WorkNOTE: If you are a current NC State Government employee, you will not be considered for a temporary assignment.
- Consultants are also required to work Special Projects which include Active Issues, Held Claims, Adjudication Backlog, and IS system user acceptance testing.
- Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.75 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application)These temporary positions will be assigned to the Department of Commerce - DES Unemployment Insurance.
- Additionally, consultants will check NC Works to validate EAI appointment compliance as well as NC Works registration, assist claimants with the DES claimant dashboard.
