  • What We Are Looking For
  • Persado is looking for a commercially experienced Regional Vice President of Strategic Accounts.
  • This role is a critical function for driving the new and upsell business at Persado, by building and leading our commercial teams to be strategically aligned to the value that Pesado delivers to our clients.
  • The right candidate understands how to develop and nurture relationships and executive sponsorship from senior-level stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies.
  • The ideal candidate understands how to identify top talent, develop talent, develop well rounded and diverse teams, and run a business with a history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • The individual must possess a history of combined new logo and upsell revenue mix, developing a balanced approach to pipeline growth and de-risking all aspects of the business model with strong commercial agreements.
  • The individual must have experience leading SaaS teams with a history helping new and existing sellers successfully overcome challenges as it relates to strategic relationship development, strategic planning, pipeline development, commercial constructs and contract negotiations.
  • The individual will be extremely performance-oriented, client-centric, people focused, intellectually curious, ambitious, self-driven, hard-working, and flexible.
  • What We Want You To Do
  • Effectively operate as the “CRO” of your region, leading commercial strategic account managers.
  • The primary goal is to develop and grow the commercial outcomes specific to new ACV in new logos and upsell motions in existing customers.
  • We do this by delivering the greatest business outcomes for our clients.
  • Facilitate your account teams’ ability to develop executive sponsorship from senior client stakeholders, and support the account teams in creating momentum for driving net new revenue against your goals.
  • Develop the regional sales execution plan in partnership with your senior leadership.
  • Analyze and assess the effectiveness of sales strategies, tactics, methods, expenses and results.
  • Accurately forecast your business and drive predictable linearity in the business, ensuring your team is accurately reporting their business within Salesforce.
  • Ensure that your account teams are following our commercial processes, and best practices.
  • Build long term strategic client partnerships while delivering/expanding account revenue targets.
  • Oversee your account teams’ development and execution of detailed account plans, OKRs, QBRs, strategies and direction with a command of what is required to grow our accounts (eg: stakeholder engagement across lines of business, client strategy, joint business case development, defined client success, opportunity management).
  • Serve as an effective coach and leader for your account teams.
  • Passionately collaborate with your partners in sales development, customer success, enablement, presales, and other departments as deemed necessary.
  • Participate in company strategic-decision making about GTM strategy tied to product portfolio.
  • Be willing to be flexible and operate when ambiguity presents itself, and find creative approaches to problem solving.
  • Actively partner with sales enablement to drive continuous improvement for your team(s) and facilitate the usage of key sales technology investments required for all aspects of the role.
  • What We Want To See
  • A total of 12+ years or more of successful sales SaaS experience with a strong history of results and over-achieving against goals.
  • 2 - 5+ years of sales leadership experience running a team, or large accounts with a successful history of over-achieving against goals.
  • Experience leading complex sales cycles, navigating multi-stakeholder decision processes, proven history negotiating commercial Saas contracts.
  • Experience with recruiting top talent, developing talent, building diverse teams and the ability to collaborate with inter-company stakeholders.
  • A passion for excellence and the ability to implement a well run business model developing repeatability and predictability in execution.
  • Successfully forecasting and managing a large book of business, and developing a regular deal review cadence aimed at strategic execution and executing mapping to help shape large transactions within the region.
  • Good understanding of sales risk management frameworks like MEDDIC and implementing challenger sale acumen within the team.
  • Ability to develop a healthy and well balanced pipeline, employing creative thinking and a history of successful tactics and strategies in partnership with the SDR and Field Marketing teams.
  • An understanding of how to engage business leaders on growth topics; and the biggest challenges CMOs, CDO, CTOs CXO’s have driving growth and incremental revenue.
  • A very organized and structured thinker and problem solver.

  • Strong ability to anticipate issues and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
