- The role of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) at CMC of PA is to provide direct one-on-one high quality counseling, medication evaluation and management, to a range of clients with mental health diagnoses.
- A PMHNP is responsible for directing treatment under the supervision of the Director of Psychiatry, including case consultation available as needed.
- Additional resource for collaboration will include our Chief Medical Office, a Triple Board-Certified Psychiatrist (Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry).
- CMC of PA offers a multidisciplinary and integrative approach, working collaboratively with the patient’s psychotherapist to offer a full range of care.
- To ensure optimal patient care, PMHNP are scheduled for a minimum of 1-hour evaluations, 90-min evals for minors under 18 years of age, and 30-min medication management appointments.
