  • Summary: The Project Manager, Product Privacy will play an instrumental role implementing data privacy requirements into product solutions that support the success of Under Armour and the Under Armour Connected Fitness applications (MapMyFitness, MyFitnessPal, Endomondo and UA Record which make up the world’s largest fitness and wellness community with over 215 million users worldwide).
  • This role collaborates with product development and engineering teams at Under Armour/CF to deliver on our promise to Make All Athletes Better in a privacy conscious way.
  • Your success will require interpersonal savvy, sound organizational skills, innovative thinking, attention-to-detail and the desire to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth, diverse environment.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project plans to implement specific cross-platform data privacy product requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from product development, engineering, design, marketing, etc.
  • Synthesize relevant requirements to create clear, actionable product objectives, identify features, track objectives, confirm and analyze results, and share learnings across the team and business
  • Work with the UA Privacy lead to learn and keep pace with emerging data privacy objectives to ensure that high quality solutions are delivered in line with Under Armour’s overall privacy strategy
  • Apply Project Management Principles to help ensure Key Stakeholder alignment on specific privacy-related project requirements, advise on resource planning, monitor key milestones and track risk management for each project
  • Responsible for change management and communication plans throughout a project
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure ongoing conformity with privacy initiatives and standards
  • 3+ years in operational and/or technical project management roles or leading/managing a cross functional process in a matrixed organization
  • 3+ years of experience in a web/mobile product or technical project manager role
  • Ability to summarize complex problems, communicate them clearly and reach consensus with senior leaders and engineers
  • Knowledge of project management principles and ability to own multiple products simultaneously, working with program management teammates
  • Experience, knowledge, or interest in data privacy a plus.
  • Understanding of how software development works and how best to interact with engineering and design teams
  • Ability to leverage technology to coordinate with teams across multiple sites, functional areas, and time zones
  • Ability to find answers to business questions via hands on exploration of data
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, statistical analysis and business intelligence tools a plus
  • Basic knowledge of general Data Privacy principles preferred but not required
  • Professional Project Management certification a plus
  • Limited travel may be required
