  • MILITARY VETERANS Eaton's Digital Office is currently seeking a Product Owner to support our Brightlayer Industrial software business.
  • This position can be based out of any of the following Eaton locations: + Avery Creek, South Carolina+ Cleveland, Ohio+ Houston, Texas + Milwaukee, Wisconsin+ Minneapolis, Minnesota + Moon Township, Pittsburg+ Raleigh, North CarolinaPosition Overview:The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the Brightlayer Industrial offering by creating and managing the product backlog.
  • This role creates detailed technical requirements (user stories) for the R&D team and communicates the voice of the customer (VOC) in the process.
  • Directs engineering teams on performance and requirements to execute the roadmap and guide the product development lifecycle.
  • The Product Owner plays the role of technical requirements definition in pure play Agile settings and works with the R&D team as a proxy for the Customer.

  • QualificationsRequired Qualifications:+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution+ Minimum 5 years of experience in managing multiple NPI agile software projects + Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futurePreferred Qualifications:+ Bachelor's Degree in STEM fieldPosition Criteria:+ Comprehensive understanding of the current trends and best-practices in web, mobile, and emerging technologies.
  • + Strong practical knowledge of agile methodologies, product development, information architecture, usability testing, and UX/UI.+ Familiarity with the technical architectural considerations involved when designing for complex systems.
  • + Ability to present technical concepts in a simple and intuitive way to software R&D team+ Knowledge of common software programs such as Java, C
  • Python, JSON, etc.
  • + Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
