- Collects specimens by venipuncture, heelstick and/or fingerstick on patients in various settings, such as within the hospital, at third party off-site locations or in nursing homes operated by a third party.
- Also collects Microbiology specimens, urine drug screens and legal specimens as required.
- Additional duties may include planting cultures in Microbiology and stocking supplies.
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of phlebotomy training program or equivalent training.
- Act 33/73 Clearances, Healthcare Provider CPR, valid driver's license and maintain eligibility to be insured under the Health Systems motor vehicle liability insurance.
