  • The Permanent Installation Project Manager supports Sky Climber's Sales and Engineering teams from a project management and field support/ installation role.
  • S/he will manage the delivery, installation, and progress billing activities for our permanently installed products and systems used for building maintenance and window washing.
  • This activity is accomplished by communicating/coordinating directly with Sky Climber sales, engineering, and mfg.
  • personnel as well as customers to interpret project demands.
  • The role also requires Project manager to work with manufacturing personnel to meet required quality levels and promised shipment dates.
  • Project Manager is also required to manage subcontractors and physically assist with installations and testing of equipment post installation.
  • The PI Project Manager will be expected to observe and be an active participant in and drive the internal product development and project management process in order to deliver efficiency, quality, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • On a daily basis, the Permanent Installation Project Manager will: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • In-depth involvement in AIA billing and project tracking.
  • Hands on installation and testing of equipment.
  • Analyze project specifications to ensure conformance to and timely/accurate execution of customer requirements.
  • Understanding of equipment layouts that meet building/customer needs as defined by contract drawings and active questioning of and listening to customers.
  • Interpret design proposals, product specifications, and operations manuals for products, projects and/or job sites.
  • Understand and incorporate safety requirements and code compliance into product designs.
  • Conduct and/or participate in and actively contribute to engineering design reviews.
  • Generate required BOM's and cost models in order to produce quotes that include all equipment and services required to meet customer expectations.
  • Create project schedules / timelines for manufacturing and track progress against schedules of parts released for fabrication.
  • Coordinate with customers and manufacturing, and track shipments through to delivery.
  • Compile closeout documentation, including Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Operation Procedure Outlines, As-Builts, Warranty Certificates, etc.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
  • Requirements: Experience working in a GC construction environment is required with exposure to metal and concrete structures preferred.
  • Computer literacy required (Bluebeam and MS Office Suite).
  • Architectural drawings and blueprint reading skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work at height.
  • This position may require up to 50% travel-project dependent
