- As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will be responsible for obstetric imaging in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team in Emory Perinatal Center.
- Nuchal Translucency test, detailed anatomy scans, umbilical cord flow studies, amniotic fluid indices, biophysical profile, specialized Doppler studies, Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villi Sampling (CVS) and assisting with prenatal diagnosis and termination procedures as medically indicated.
- Beginner skill in fetal echocardiography.
- Create preliminary prenatal ultrasound reports for each study performed.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound and at a minimum be registered as a Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN issued by the American Registry of Diagnostic Med Sonography (ARDMS); Nuchal Translucency credential issued by the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review.
