- This work will take place in a first-of-its-kind human performance (HP) facility that incorporates job-specific conditioning, cutting-edge HP technology, and easy access to prehab & rehab physical therapy.
- The Performance Dietitian is responsible for providing nutritional guidance, assisting in the production of nutritional policy and guidelines, assessing nutritional needs, teaching meal preparation, and for developing nutrition improvement plans for student pilots, instructor pilots, and other warfighters at Eglin AFB. This position will work in coordination with the Human Performance Team to ensure that there is a seamless integration of all warfighter care through the organization.
- Uses a wide range of principles, practices and procedures of the science of dietetics and behavior change theories to plan, implement and evaluate performance nutrition program needs
- Delivers briefings, educational sessions, seminars, and worksite wellness consultation as needed.
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics
