- ABP certification or board eligibility in pediatric critical care medicine and the ability to obtain a Georgia license are required.
- Teaching responsibilities include participation in formal didactic lectures and informal teaching of medical students, residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, and other health care professionals working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Our CCM group supports an accredited fellowship program of 15 fellows/year.
- Clinical responsibilities include clinical practice in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at our Atlanta Egleston campus with a 40-bed PICU and ~3,000 admissions/year.
- Academic responsibilities include investigator-initiated and collaborative research.
- The non-tenured faculty appointment involves a substantial commitment to research and the expansion of critical care outreach services within the healthcare system.
