  • · Responsible for payroll processing and oversight of payroll service deliverables (i.e. payroll tax reports, ACA reporting, W2 reporting)
  • · Responsible for ensuring that DispatchHealth is compliant as it relates to compensation and employment practices in every state in which we operate
  • · Assist with financial reporting as it relates to HR functions such as, ROI on benefit decisions, implications of policy changes, etc
  • · Assist HR lead with preparation for executive and Board meetings in the areas that relate to payroll, compliance, and HR related financial data
  • · Responsible for tracking Workers Compensation claims and OSHA reporting
  • · Super-user of HRIS / Payroll system, capable of training and assisting in change management activities

  • Policies & Procedures - articulates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems; including strong understanding of compliance within a consolidated payroll processing environment
  • PC Skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required; ability to quickly learn new PC skills
  • Project Management - assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately, applies tools and processes to identify and communicate project goals, schedules, responsibilities, progress and performance
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills - builds strong relationships with diverse groups, encouraging accomplishment of mutually established goals
  • Technical Expertise - is proficient in payroll including processes, policies, and the many aspects of payroll compliance including; but not limited to, FLSA, IRS, and various federal/state regulatory requirements
  • A business related degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll with a regulatory/compliance focus
  • Experience in garnishment laws and calculations required
  • Experience with healthcare payroll preferred
  • Experience in a consolidated, multi-state payroll environment preferred
  • Certified Payroll Professional considered a plus
