- Under direction, Park Ranger Supervisor supervises positions involved in law enforcement, fee collection, visitor services, interpretive programs, resource and wildlife protection, safety enforcement, pollution control, habitat improvement, planning and development, public relations, and related duties for the County Regional Parks System.
- Note: Completion of units from an accredited college or university in law enforcement, park and recreation administration, forestry, public recreation, criminal justice, natural resource management or a closely related field pertinent to the management and protection of natural and cultural resources may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience on the basis of 3 semester (4 quarter) units equal one month of work experience.
- The following Supplemental Questionnaire is the Civil Service Exam for this position and will be used to determine your exam score.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited four-year college or university in Law Enforcement, Park and Recreation Administration, Forestry, Public Recreation, Criminal Justice, Natural Resource Management, or a field closely related to the management and/or protection of natural or cultural resources.
- An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Law Enforcement, Park and Recreation Administration, Forestry, Public Recreation, Criminal Justice, Natural Resource Management, or a field closely related to the management and/or protection of natural or cultural resources.
