The Job: As an Operations Manager, youll be part of our Global Tools & Storage (GTS) manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations, ensuring that production goals are achieved in a cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest safety & quality standards. You will play a key role in implementing lean manufacturing methodologies, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Youll get to: <ul><li>Manage and coordinate manufacturing activities with speed and agility to ensure timely and efficient production outputs against established KPIs. </li><li>Guarantee the achievement of the production KPI's such as: Labor Efficiency, Supply Mix; Scrap Reduction, Schedule Attainment, etc. </li><li>Oversee all value streams that include Drive Tools, Wrenches, Sockets and Batch Operations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safe working environment. </li><li>Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations. Implement quality management systems and drive continuous improvement in quality processes. </li><li>Support the development, succession planning and retention of our people along with providing effective people management. Maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders. </li><li>Drive the sustainable implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies, such as 5S, TIER Board Reporting, Gemba, Kaizen, Leader Std Work, and Six Sigma, to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency. </li><li>Support annual productivity targets, utilizing resources to deliver expected savings and drive tangible and intangible benefits for the business. </li><li>Monitor, control, and reduce manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses, to ensure that production goals are achieved within budgetary constraints. </li><li>Utilize SAP software and other data analysis tools to monitor and analyze production data, identify trends, and generate reports to drive informed decision-making. </li></ul> The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
