- Age-related conditions are of special interest (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body disease, frontotemporal degeneration, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, vascular cognitive impairment/dementia, and multiple sclerosis) although investigators studying other conditions of the central nervous system are also encouraged to apply.
- Candidates eligible for appointment at the level of Associate Professor or higher are preferred.
- Center for Healthy Aging (CHA): cognitive decline and clinical neuroscience, Alzheimer’s and dementia research in Asian and Pacific Americans, end-of-life care, multi-omic biomarkers and big data, and equity in access to neurodegenerative disease research and treatments.
- Center for State Health Policy (CSHP): Medicaid innovations; licensure, financing, and regulation of health services workforce and delivery systems; other state-led policy initiatives; and application of quasi-experimental causal inference modeling to evaluate natural policy experiments.
- Other IFH Centers include the Center for Population Behavioral Health and Center for Population-Level Bioethics.
