  • The PMO for the US supports organizational and IT leadership in overseeing, managing and using the entire life cycle of investments and initiatives to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • As an arm of the overall BIT governance function, acts as the primary resource for the investment council, steering committee and senior executives for communications, and for reporting the state and performance of initiatives within the portfolio.
  • The PMO ensures that the work of the BIT function adds value, is relevant to the strategy of the organization, and meets the goals set for BIT by executive management.
  • BIT Strategy/KPI’s: Implement methods for measuring quality and effectiveness of the overall BIT strategy, and alignment with Regional BIT, US and Americas Focus and generate BIT Dashboard (KPI’s regional & US, BIT customer KPI’s, financials, timing; comparison of period forecasts vs actuals) and identify opportunities to improve overall score).
  • Facilitate and coordinate the efforts of senior leadership toward the establishment of the project portfolio definition, its structure and processes.
  • This includes Demand management and strategic alignment of projects and programs (EGAP); Portfolio categories and criteria; Evaluation, selection and prioritization; Execution, tracking and measuring the achieved results; Risk Management; Project approval coordination REF/GPPRB/AMIC; Project Compliance reporting and tracking the realization of expected benefits defined in business cases and project compliance reporting.
  • Defines, manages and directs the needed end-to-end PMO work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to PMO staff and project managers in order to achieve higher maturity in PPM.
  • Maintains our Project Management Platform (PPM Pro) and ensures all PMs are trained on using the tool
  • Communication: Develop Communication Strategy for BIT Team and execution (newsletter, monthly presentations, board presentations, recognition programs, etc.)
  • and creation of annual communication plan which will provide ongoing/consistent messaging with stakeholders.
  • Owns and coordinates BIT Employee programs (CIS IT Foundation, EOS,I LOVE IT, & Learning Sessions), Corporate Social Responsibility programs and IT Re-Cert processes (Best Places to Work in IT) and follow up Recognition programs and effectiveness.
  • Leads the development of Stakeholder Matrix (influencer, decision maker, etc.)
  • - upraising of leadership team and the BIT effectiveness and expectation assessment with key stakeholders
  • Coordinates BIT Vendor management, review top vendor contracts and SLA’s and benchmark top market vendors to improve productivity and innovation – coordinating review by domains and works with Procurement
