- The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) invites applications for a full-time position as a vision scientist with expertise in immunology at the Assistant/Associate, or Professor level.
- The ideal candidate will hold a PhD degree with extramural (NIH) funding and cutting-edge research in vision science.
- Priority will be given to candidates with a productive history of translationally oriented research and activity in ocular immunology, and a strong track record of scholarly publications and presentations.
- Substantial laboratory space and equipment, a competitive startup/transition package, and a highly supportive endowed chair are included.
- The vision research community at OUHSC consists of over 20 laboratories with research interests in ocular microbiology and immunology, retinal cell biology and degenerative diseases, ocular diseases across the lifespan, diabetic ocular and vascular complications, novel therapeutics, genetics of inherited retinal diseases, glaucoma, and myopia.
