  • The Vice President will be part of a newly formed team (New & Emerging Strategic Channels) within Startup Banking and is tasked with acquiring and managing a portfolio of new channel partners and founder communities, including angel investors, angel syndicates, venture studios and other ecosystem partners , with a focus on underrepresented investors and founders.
  • Build & develop strong relationships with key channel partners, clients and stakeholders.
  • Educate prospective clients on the SVB platform , produc ts/services and own end to end client experience from prospecting to onboarding and ongoing client engagement.
  • Analyze and manage internal and external data sources to identify top clients and prospects, potential cross-sell opportunities , predict fundraising needs, and industry trends relevant to investors and founders.
  • Operate client portfolio as a franchise by tracking and analyzing key metrics.
  • Manage expenses related to operations and ROI.
  • portfolio health related to compliance and credit risk.
  • A ssess capital needs and identify lending opportunities.
  • Manage and measure success against customer satisfaction outcomes (as measured by NPS) across clie nt portfolio
  • B uild and unique programming, events, and content to meet market engagement goals supporting channel partners and founder communities.
  • This role m ay include managerial responsibilities of junior team members.
  • As a key member of the “New and Emerging Strategic Channels” team you will work with the top startups across the US and gain a deep understanding of SVB’s platform, products & services, while also developing your own personal thesis on the ecosystem and unique ways to support early stage founders on their journey from starting up to scaling their business.
  • 5 + years experience in the innovation and/or tech community.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in the innovation / tech community and strong desire to understand?
  • market dynamics, trends and the unique challenges faced by underrepresented investor and founder communities.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work in a team environment and comfortable working independently.
  • Analytical and comfortable making data-informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of banking products and operations is a bonus.
