- The Neuropsychologist utilizes clinical interviewing and neuropsychological assessments, including digitally-enabled cognitive assessments, to evaluate patients with disorders including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias, and movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, as well as other neurological conditions, to develop appropriate treatment plans, including conducting pre-surgical planning.
- The Neuropsychologist develops and advances diagnostic and therapeutic programs focused on early detection of cognitive decline, investigates cognition and emotion with structural and functional MRI, and implements and oversees analysis of neuroimaging data.
- Requirements: PhD in Clinical Psychology or related field from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or foreign equivalent accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), Board Eligibility or Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology by American Board of Professional Psychology, and eligibility for license as a Psychologist in the State of Nevada.
