- The Neurosciences Department at AdventHealth Littleton is looking for a clinical neuropsychologist to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment recommendations to a variety of individuals suffering from various medical conditions that present with cognitive complaints.
- Traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumor, exposure to toxic substances, spinal cord injury, anoxic events, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia, are just a few of the types of patients seen in the practice for neuropsychological evaluation.
- Referrals for evaluation come from a variety of physicians including but not limited to primary care, neurology, neurosurgery, neuro IR, epileptologists, sports medicine, and hospitalists.
- The neuropsychologist's responsibilities will be to:+ Administer cognitive, neuropsychological, and psychological tests and measures via psychometrist assistance+ Score and interpret those materials, and prepare a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment report to include diagnoses, and recommendations for treatment.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology from an APA accredited program,+ Completion of a 2 year post-doctoral fellowship/residency in neuropsychology consistent with the Houston Guideline+ Board eligible or board certified.
