  • Responsible for day-to-day implementation of contract deliverables and resolution of problems relating to monitoring encounter activities.
  • S/he will coordinate scheduling, training, and other monitoring encounter activities that require a statewide approach.
  • Accountabilities / Essential Functions
  • Coordinate all statewide monitoring team activities and
  • Must be available for meetings in person or by teleconference at the discretion of the Department
  • Supervise the review teams that complete monitoring reviews of municipalities, agency and individual early intervention providers and
  • Ensure that individuals conducting monitoring reviews in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as primary contact with the Department regarding day-to-day monitoring activities
  • Work closely with the Department to address concerns about team member conduct, technical assistance, monitoring protocols, content of computer-generated monitoring reports and recommendations regarding corrective action plans
  • The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Oversee Agency Contracted Staff
  • Education (general level if required) or specific courses and Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Education, Healthcare, Social Services or closely related field preferred
  • Must have two years of experience in the area of quality improvement, utilization review, or performance-based monitoring, training, and technical assistance
  • Must have an understanding of special education services under NY Education Law 4410 as related to an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
  • Two years of supervisory or lead worker experience preferred
