We are seeking a Remote Medical Billing Specialist available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Responsibilities As a Medical Billing Specialist, your primary duties will include: Preparation and submission of claims to Copay assistance programs Proficient navigation through various operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images Ensuring claims are processed to resolution, maintaining compliance throughout the process Requirements To excel in this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or similar work Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with strong typing skills Entry-level position suitable for candidates with 0-2 years of pharmacy billing experience Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective prioritization abilities Customer service skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach High School Diploma or GED Mandatory attendance during the initial 90-day period Preferred Qualifications Ideal candidates will also possess the following: Minimum 1 year of experience working with healthcare reimbursement systems Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid processes is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology If you believe you are the right fit for this Remote Medical Billing Specialist position, we encourage you to reach out!
