Material Handler: Shift/Hours: 1st Shift / 8:00AM - 6:00PM, Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $13.00 Location: Knoxville, TN Experience: 6+ months Responsibilities of Material Handler: <ul><li>Unload trucks from receiving area</li><li>Must be able to work in hot environments in the summer and cold environments in the winter</li><li>Manual labor of unloading trucks</li><li>Forklift experience is place</li><li>Read store orders from a tablet or paper which will include: item locations, descriptions, and quantity needed.</li><li>Select the needed pieces of merchandise and place them into a tote or box.</li><li>Move totes or boxes of merchandise (up to 20-45 pounds regularly and 45-75 pounds occasionally) utilizing safe lifting techniques.</li><li>Maintain a high level of accuracy for merchandise selected.</li><li>Work efficiently and effectively on pick lines with 10 or more other employees.</li><li>Maintain 100% or greater to performance standards.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of work zones at the end of each shift.</li></ul> Requirements of Material Handler: <ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance</li><li>Minimum 1 year warehouse experience</li><li>Ability to lift up to 20-45 lbs regularly and 45 -75 lbs occasionally</li></ul> Benefits of working with PrideStaff: <ul><li>Medical, Rx, and Wellness Benefits</li><li>Dental and Vision Plan Options</li><li>Short-term Disability</li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan</li><li>Holiday Pay</li></ul> Interested in this position, give us a call at 865-444-6449!
