- KIPP Texas Public Schools is a network of 59 public charter, open-enrollment, pre-k-12 schools educating nearly 34,000 students across Austin, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.
- The Managing Director will lead the strategic direction for KIPP Texas Special Populations and related services (special education, dyslexia, 504, MTSS) and lead initiating of new strategy as well as overseeing implementation and project timelines of the strategic plan.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coach a core team of KTX state-level Directors, Managers, and Program Coordinators in the areas of Special Education, Section 504, MTSS, and Dyslexia.
- Legal Framework & Compliance: Experience and knowledge of IDEA and Texas State Education Law & Regulations, Section 504 Law & Regulations, and understanding of the essential elements of high performing MTSS systems and structures.
- Routinely evaluate the KIPP Texas Special Education program, Section 504 Program, Dyslexia Services, and Response to Intervention supports to ensure that objectives for student education are met.
