  • Managing Consultant - Health Outcomes Research
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, this business development professional will be responsible for the sale of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Commercial Market Access Services (CMA).
  • Ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Analytics, Health Economics, Economic Modeling, Global Value Dossiers, Meta Research and Patient Reported Outcomes.
  • Primary function will be to develop and expand relationships with Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies in a given territory.
  • Achieve annual sales plan and sales targets
  • Establish and grow client relationships
  • Develop account plans and partnerships with key accounts
  • Provide weekly sales activity reports to management
  • Develop client call cycle to achieve objectives and sales plan
  • Follow up on leads
  • Provide general intelligence on key competitors
  • Sell Genesis Practice’ capabilities and competitive advantages
  • Set and manages client expectations
  • Collaborate with company resources to successfully achieve customer satisfaction
  • Organize and host client visits
  • Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Participate in proposal development as appropriate
  • Maintain frequent personal contact with clients
  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or Business
  • Strong industry knowledge
  • 3 plus years sales (or relevant) experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech sector with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers
  • Pathways to Success
  • Fully understand Genesis Research services and relationship with clients and able to assist the Practice leader with his/her efforts in meeting and exceeding client needs
  • Have mastered the client development process from initial contact to project initiation and project completion
  • Offer creative ideas and solutions and new ways of thinking for the Practice Manager and to clients that align to client’s business goals, and ultimately grows new business
  • Successfully conduct internal communications in respect to client engagement performance, client strategies, and client needs
